CSMA Meeting Minutes August 29, 2004 Paul Gibson, N1TUP, called the meeting to order at 9:10 am. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted. There was no formal treasurer?s report. Paul updated the group on his encounter with NESMC at the Boxboro Hamvention. Paul informed those present that NESMC had negotiated a 440-band plan with a military installation in the Andover area and has expertise in these type negotiations. James Delancy, 220-band coordinator, has been having trouble getting a response from Metrocor. Dana Underhill, the Frequency Coordinator, suggests James give Metrocor another couple of weeks to respond to his cross coordination requests before giving temporary coordination to a current applicant. Dana Underhill will request from the ARRL the database currently used in the latest repeater directory. This will be the list from which all changes will be made going forward. The group present then worked on updating the coordination guidelines. The meeting was adjourned at noon after numerous changes. The guidelines were not completed and the next working session to complete v2 of the guidelines will be on Saturday 9/18/04 at 9am at the Southington Town Hall. Respectfully submitted John M. Ahle, W1JMA Secretary
