CSMA Meeting Minutes for October 10, 2004 Nutmeg Hamfest Paul Gibson, N1TUP at 10:21 am, called the meeting to order. The Secretary read the August and September minutes. Said minutes were accepted. The Treasurer gave a report of the treasury; the balance in the account is $1003.70. Said report was accepted. A motion was made and approved to reimburse Rod Lane for the condolence flowers sent to Mike Melanson. Mike's son passed away unexpectedly. The Secretary cast a single ballot for the unopposed slate of officers for the next two-year term. President, Paul Gibson, VP, Rod Lane, Secretary/Treasurer, John M. Ahle. Dana Underhill, Frequency Coordinator had obtained the database from the ARRL used in the last repeater directory. All changes will be made to this database for the annual submission due on January 15, 2005. Dana will update this database with all the needed information to have an accurate accounting of all repeaters in Connecticut. The database will be in excel. It was discussed and approved that the 2m SNP?s will be removed from the upcoming repeater guide. In addition any emitter not in operation for the past two years will also be removed from the database. It is the emitter owner?s responsibility to keep CSMA apprised of its status. CSMA will not chase down emitter owners as to the status of their emitters. It was discussed and decided that temporary coordination will only be made after the cross coordination process has been followed. That process is outlined in the V2 document. John Ahle will circulate the V2 document so it can be posted on the website. John Spigel will update the forms on the website complying to the v2 document.
