CSMA Meeting Minutes Sunday February 27, 2005 Southington Town Hall Paul Gibson, N1TUP at 10:10 am, called the meeting to order. The minutes of the previous meeting were amended to exclude SNP 147.03 and 147.135. The amended minutes were accepted. The Treasurers report was accepted. Rick K1OF and George K1EHW from the GNARC club presented CSMA with coordination papers from TSARC, the old CSMA and updated papers relating to the emitter located on 147.39. The repeater has moved from Norwalk Hospital to an SBC tower. The GNARC club submitted papers relating to the new location. Bruce Marcus, NX1G ran reports demonstrating the emitter footprint from both locations. He made suggestions to the GNARC group as to how to keep the same footprint from the new location. The GNARC club has pl’ed the machine. The GNARC club said they would make necessary adjustments to keep the footprint the same as the old footprint relating to northwesterly coverage. The repeater in West Haven on 224.72 went live 3 weeks ago with no reported issues. Cross coordination to begin. All band coordinators are reminded to have emitter owners submit to the CSMA snail mail address information regarding the status of testing emitters in the coordination process. The group present approved a circulated cross coordination document. It was also discussed that a 6 meter and 902 band plan be developed by CSMA. Riley Hollingsworth will be invited to our June meeting at the NARL Hamfest. The next meeting of the CSMA will be at the Southington Hamfest on 4/24 at 10am. The meeting was closed at noon.
