CSMA General Membership Meeting June 11, 2005 Paul Gibson, N1TUP at 10:08 am, called the meeting to order. The meeting was held at the NARL hamfest. The minutes of the April 24, 2005 meeting were read and accepted. The treasury has a balance of $1069.28. The treasurer's report was accepted. Members of UNYREPCO were present at this meeting; Fred Fitte, WA2MNX, the President and Richard Ball operator of the Middletown, NY emitter. The issue of the Norwalk repeater interfering with the Middletown repeater was discussed in detail. The issue that Norwalk has moved from Norwalk Hospital to an SBC tower has changed the footprint of its emitter. Updated paperwork was submitted in February. At that meeting Norwalk discussed PL ing the machine and maintaining its original footprint. Bruce Marcus, the 2m coordinator needs additional information from Rich Ball to run needed footprint analysis. The outcome of the discussion is that GNARC will be given 30 days after receipt of a letter from our Frequency Coordinator to restore its operations to the original footprint. If GNARC does not restore its emitter operation to the original footprint as generated from the Hospital, coordination of this emitter will be terminated. Paul Gibson discussed that the group discuss at detail the 900 mhz band plan and resolve issues regarding this band. UNYREPCO will provide its 900 MHz plan for our discussions. The 220 repeater in southwestern CT will be coordinated. The next meeting is Sunday July 24, 2005 at 10am in Manchester. The meeting will take place at Marcus Communications, 275 New State Road. The meeting was closed at 11:05 am. Submitted by John M. Ahle W1JMA
