Dana will again follow up with Jeff Depolo at ARCC on the W1QI 2m coordination. Norwalk has been issued a temporary coordination on 146.775. The machine has been operational. The members of GNARC at the meeting stated that once the testing period for the 146.775 was complete, the 147.39 repeater at the Norwalk Hospital would be turned off. General Information: Paul Gibson discussed the status of the NFCC and CSMA's acceptance into this coordinating body. CSMA filed for membership in July, the application has been accepted and is to be voted upon by the current membership. Comments were made at a recent hamfest about the anonymous donation received by CSMA of $1000. Due to the nature of the comment, the donor has agreed to be named to clear up any allegation that coordination could be bought. The donation was made by the Walt Disney Corporation. A CSMA member is associated with the organization and had requested a donation and it was granted. The treasurer reminded those members present that dues were due for expiring memberships. Dues are $15 for a 3 year period. Several members joined and renewed their individual or club memberships. The information for the repeater directory is due back to the FC on 12.1.06. Dana gave out a simple form and list of current database to those present and asked that the group get the word out to emitter owners to update the information. Bruce Marcus discussed recent conversations he had with the phone company to get residential rates for repeaters. There is a precedent to get residential rates. Contact Bruce if your club is having trouble getting and keeping the residential rates. Discussion was had on a local repeater that is interfering with the APRS back up Frequency. CSMA is not an enforcement agency but will cooperate with FCC in all interference complaints. It was discussed and decided to put the 900 mhz band plan on the CSMA website. John Spigel the webmaster will take care of this. Election of Officers: After opening the floor to nominations the following slate of officers were approved by the membership present.
